Turning to the next match. What lineup will we roll out for the midweek game with 2 days’ rest before and after?

Mitri is hurt. Can he go? Twice in 4 days?

Heber wasn’t fit for more than 60 minutes yesterday. Are we going to give him long runs in all 3 games?

Can Isi recover by Saturday? Taty?

Too much that we don’t know.

I am guessing that we will play the same formation. Ibeagha will slot in to give Chanot a rest. Maybe we see some Keaton Parks for Ofori.

Up front, maybe Lewis for Mitri alongside Heber.

Lewis to start on the left. Heber starting again, sub for Taty (if available), Medina on the right (subbed for Isi).

Everything else should stay the same depending on fitness.

Not confident about three points. Chicago look good.
If the team has gone with a 532 the last two matches, and there no reason to think that’d be changed up after Dome finally got a W, how are you proposing getting three forwards on the field at the same time with only two forward spots? Not to mention you’re slotting Medina in as a starter....

The above has JLew for the injured Mitri, and Ofori and Chanot getting a midweek breather.

If Isi can’t make the bench, maybe throw Bedoya or Torres in there instead.

Chicago has looked better than I expected, but they've had a pretty easy schedule, with 5H2A, and their only 2 wins were home against Red Bulls and Colorado (combined 2 Away points in 7 games).
Not that I'm confident about getting 3 points. First because this team needs to prove itself before I start expecting wins again, and second because of our injury issues combined with expected tinkering for the smaller pitch (after things just started working).

Gaitan has got them rolling, but if we can take Rooney out of the picture, there's no reason we shouldn't be able to neutralize Nico

New York City FC have two players rated as “questionable” for the Wednesday night showdown with the Chicago Fire.

Alexandru Mitriță, a goalscorer in the win over D.C., is being assessed by medical staff after sustaining an ankle injury which curtailed his outing at Audi Field.

Another player who is in a race against time to be fit is Ismael Tajouri-Shradi, who is also nursing an ankle problem which kept him out of the weekend’s win.

Other than that, City have a fully-fit squad which includes Taty Castellanos after he recovered from the concussion sustained in the 3-3 draw at Minnesota.

We’re celebrating Bronx Borough Night at the stadium on Wednesday night, paying homage to the borough we call home.

The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Bronx pin which forms part of a season-long pin series being rolled out #ForTheCity.

For those who can’t make it out, the game will be broadcasted live on the YES Network, with radio commentary available in English and Spanish at NYCFC.com/Radio.

Lots of yellows given out by Chapman last match, but all to players yet to receive a card this season. (decided to add the official to the chart going forward)

Chanot & Mitrita are the only ones who can get a reduction, and it looks like Mitrita won't play. It's been 4 matches since Sweat & Callen's last cards, but they've both missed games over that period.

Lewis with the dumbest yellow card ever. Even though i saw people blaming Chapman for it.
