Kevin Stott has not refereed an NYCFC match this season. In 2018, he refereed our 4-0 loss at Red Bulls and 1-0 loss to Atlanta (Playoffs).

Stott has refereed two Red Bulls matches this season. 3-2 loss at Philadelphia at 3-3 draw at Atlanta.

Stott is also refereeing the LAFC vs. San Jose match on Wednesday at 10:30 PM ET, so he'll be on short rest for this match.

Anyone want to give a guess on the lineup?

I’d like to see the 3 real CBs with Ring partnering with Parks. Tinny starts. Same with Mata. Possibly Sweat I bet. Maxi with Mitri and Taty to start.

I kinda want Dome to go on all out attack. Put all our guys on the field.

GMS/Mitri - Taty - Heber
Maxi - Parks
Ring
Mata - Callens - Chanot - Tinnerholm

Both GMS and Mitri look like they get tired very easily... so maybe they can sub for eachother again this game. The keys to this game will be our ability to play short and out of the RB pressure. Sean needs to grow some balls and play short instead of hitting long balls all the time. But this goes for everyone. Yes, sometimes long balls are the only option, but we need to try to break their press with our fluid passing and this will require GOOD movement off the ball. Our guys are tired, but the atmosphere should be electric. Hope it fuels them to put in a hard fought game. If they play on Saturday like they did the second half tonight, it could be a very long and ugly night.

Good news is RB should be tired and physically beat up from the DC game and one of their key CBs is suspended due to direct red. Physically, I don't think anybody will have the advantage so it's going to come down to heart for this one. If we can play short and wear them down first half, we should have it much easier in the second. We also need to make sure we FINISH what chances we have. Too many missed opportunities lately and I feel like it's due to a lack of killer instinct.

Also Robles is hurt. Leg injury. They couldn’t sub him out vs DC because they used up all their subs. Someone else was taking goal kicks for him. That’s how bad it was. We might see Meara in goal.

Is he hurt, hurt? From what I read, it was just very serious cramps. Some gatorade and massages the next few days and he'll be ready to play. But, another hot and humid day might make him cramp again which would be great mid-game... keep him from saving anything we put on target. Key words "ON TARGET".

Haven't seen anything about the humidity, but Saturday's high is supposed to be 77 with a low of 64.

On another note Amro Tarek received 2 yellows (and thus a red) yesterday so won't be available on Saturday. Now, it looks like he isn't a usual starter, so not sure how much this really affects Red Bulls.

yea, doesn't look like weather conducive of cramping... beautiful for some good soccer though!

RB has Tarek, Parker, and Long as their CB choices. If Tarek is out, Parker is in. They've been rotating the whole season depending on who has been performing better. So, defensively, I don't think it really hurts them having him suspended as they're all generally on the same level. Parker is a brute though, so I suspect we will see some impressive taty flops this saturday.

Anyone wanna convince the FO to wait for kickoff until 8:30 so all the Jewish fans can tune in? :p

Honestly I hate how our home saturday kickoffs are always right before sundown so the games end just when the sabbath ends.
