Home - February 26 - San Carlos - CCL (Postmatch)

Unless Yankees bend over backwards and allow us to make all the changes necessary to meet concacaf regulations and give our opponent access to train, we'll be at RBA again.

Good game for us overall but lots to improve on. We did not look good working the ball up the middle and maxi coming back to the defense to collect is never a good sign. We played a lot of long balls.

Most of all, I felt we lacked that killer instinct. We could have put this game well away in the first half but lacked the hunger to shoot and sharpness be clinical in the final third. Hopefully this is still preseason rust.

Defensively we looked fairly good. Sands was beast.

Overall good game. Happy for a shutout. Onto Columbus!

This is Medina’s third season with the club...... at what point is he going to start benching more than 20lbs so that his compression sleeves aren’t loose???

He was crap once again with no physical presence going into challenges. The scuttlebutt last year was that he didn’t put in the time in the weight room, and it’s not as if there’s counter-evidence to prove he did..... when Harrison came back his second year, he was literally “jacked” and was far more effective on the ball. Medina may have talent deep down, but he’s done nothing to improve his deficiencies.

Delia seems like a smart guy, he’s gonna get frustrated given Jesus chances over and over with nothing to show for it.
