anyone know how best to get there from Penn Station NY? wonder if there will be shuttles to the stadium from Newark
You can take NJ Transit from NY Penn to Newark Penn as well. Don't have to leave the real Penn Station at all if you're feeling like you don't want to walk or take a train elsewhere. Walk from Newark Penn is slightly longer than going from the Harrison PATH stop but really isn't that much longer. Train ride is usually less than 20 minutes.

Alternatively walk from Penn to 33rd and Sixth, and get on the PATH there to Journal Square, then switch to Harrison/Newark.
I don't think they ever have shuttles from Newark to RBA, not even on days when the stadium is packed.

Doesn't look to be far from Harrison station. Maybe a 5 min walk. My first time going to RBA..

Thank you both - they had a bunch of shuttle info on the RBA site, but probably doesn't apply so this is helpful. Think I might take the Path from 33rd then transfer at Journal Square and get off at Harrison - this way I won't have to walk the 20 minutes from Newark Penn or have to take the subway down to the WTC Path

Okay- From Penn Station it sucks bc you have to go backwards on the PATH after (transwer at newark penn station)... I've done it three times since I go directly to penn. It takes an awful lot of time, especially going backwards. It's much easier to go to world trade center and then go from there.

After this result on the road, we are in prime position to advance to the quarterfinals. Do NYCFC fans and TR let bygones be bygones and actualy try to attend this game? It won't be a big crowd regardless with the start-time, but would be nice if we had a few thousand fans there to support the team as they try to go through this round.

I'll be there!

my question is what happens next round? we don't know if yankee stadium will get approved and if it doesn't, it's pretty much a given citi won't either as they'll likely be denied for similar reasons. even san carlos had their stadium denied for whatever reason. seems concacaf is being very picky about where they want matches played and they are basically delaying and delaying until teams have no choice but to play where they want them to. there's every chance that will do our entire CCL run at RBA as our home venue. will fans and supporter groups continue to not attend just cause it's at RBA if that's the case? i wonder...

Yankee Stadium not getting approved is very different from Yankee Stadium not being available. I think if it's clear this is CONCACAF being obnoxious, that's a very different state of affairs.

Anyone else get tickets for this? for whatever reason, it still charged my credit card for them (though I could have fucked it up).

I’m not smart enough to figure out how to get these for free. Thanks NYCFC!
