This is obviously still a rivalry for us but I have to say I’m not even that up for it as I was in years past. Long is one of their only players still there from years past. I think we win handily.

Isn't Kaku still there? Davis? Parker? All players I despise .. lol

I agree though. The rivalry doesn't feel as heated this year.. not sure why. Maybe cause we havent gone to games? I dunno.

This is our chance to have a blowout win .. can we do it?

It is crazy how little juice there is for this right now. Maybe it's just related to there being no fans in the stands, maybe it's that both teams are mid-table. Hopefully fans tune in to watch on TV, at the very least. Will be fun to have Joe and Ian calling a home Derby.

I follow the team on Twitter. I'm going to watch the game.

I'm seeing promoted tweets for the game on Twitter from NYCFC.

Yeah...

I agree. it's definitely bc of the lack of spectators. And I think that plays a lot into the disconnect from the game/team that a lot ofpeople are experiencing. The not-going-to-games thing really puts a downer on it. Next year it'll be better, if we are allowed back in.

Really? I'm feeling a 1-0 loss.

RBNJ have pretty much nobody. We have all our players back.. though we're missing some key players. On the whole, we are a much better squad.

Can we put it in the back of the net though? that's the question. Killer instinct to destroy a team is something we've never really had. have we ever scored more than 5?

Red Bulls are obviously a team in transition, but they are also unbeaten in their last 5 games since Caden Clark made his first team debut. This isn't really a lets put 5 goals against a bad team situation.

Time to get excited. We still have some OG’s on our side that have been with us long enough to know what this match means. RB only scored more than 1 goal once in the last 7 matches and it was against Chicago. With how good our defense has been we should be able to hold them back. Just. Have. To. Finish.

Columbus up 1-0 at halftime. Need a draw here right? Then win our last two and we get a bye?
A draw plus a Columbus loss at Orlando, win our last two and we get a bye.

Orlando dropping points is also an option towards a bye though seems unlikely.

Either way, win today and we have shot at a bye. That shot becomes less likely with a Columbus win against Philly, and then after that, if Orlando is to win at Montreal (at RBA).

Thanks. Looked through a few threads and couldn’t find it.
