The day before a game and there's only three posts? I guess it's not fair that after the first win in awhile there's no time to savor, time to move on to the next

Don't forget to wear black everyone.

Just an FYI free black shirt for the first 20k in tomorrow. How early do you think you have to get in to get the shirt?

Just wanted to also say that I thoroughly enjoyed Yankees Bar & Grill with my sister before the game on Wednesday. Will be stopping with my boy tomorrow.

Here's my take on tomorrow being that there won't be another episode before then.

I really liked the way the team played against Toronto. The back line looked organized and got the recognition for the shut out from Kreis, rightfully so after the game. I fully expect to see that same four tomorrow.

Villa trained and passed his fitness test today according to reporters who attended today's session. He will be tested again tomorrow afternoon before the roster decision is final.

I am pencilling him in for tomorrow in place of Grabavoy.

That gives me the lineup of

Saunders, Allen, Facey, Hernandez, Wingert, Pirlo, Jacobson, Mix, Lampard, Villa and Mullins.

The combination of the more organized back line and in my opinion the most dangerous attack is Kreis' recipe for success. In the post game he looked like a guy who just figured out how to solve Rubik's Cube.

Pirlo played further up the field than he did in earlier games. That seemed to work well. When he made defensive challenges they were less desperate and honestly, they were effective.

The other notable change was the play of Mullins. He and Villa play the lone striker role completely different and Kreis commented that even after some success with Villa as the striker, he wanted Villa on the wing because Villa was drifting there anyway. Mullins doesn't want to take or create as many shots as Villa does from that position so he's more likely to link up and create using the other attacking players. This fits the team better because it opens the midfield.

Barring injury, and until the team is mathematically eliminated, with the rest days available between games, why would you change anything? Unless of course, you're Jason Kreis.

Only 6 players in the league have taken more shots than Wondo (14 goals on 74 shots).

Villa 15 goals on 121 shots.

Martins has 12 goals on 35 shots for comparison.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Villas got one of the highest percentages of shots on goal of all the top goal scorers. There has been way too much time this year he was too isolated up top. I am looking forward to seeing him with mullins today

I'm also hoping having someone else up top will help with Villa's offsides problems. It might stretch the defense a bit and cause them to have to fall back more.

It's like none of you have ever seen a kreis lineup before. Mix will sit. Grabavoy will play. It will be a weird formation. Prepare to get a lesson from the genius

There's another way of looking at that lineup. View it as a 4-1-4-1. Then you have this:

-------------------Mullins-------------------
Villa-------Pirlo-------Lampard-------Mix
---------------------AJ----------------------
Wingert---Facey---Hernandez----Allen

Just look at that midfield line.
