in taty's preview for this game, he discussed some things in response to questions.

first - he said the team was told by Ronny that the system was built around heber. if true, this seems to contradict Ronny's statement that he would love to play heber and taty together.

second - he feels a bit hard done by refs but he's not going to think about it. just going to play how he plays and keep fighting.

i hope with heber unfortunately out, taty can step up and shine like he did last year. My worry is that without maxi or help from mitri & isi on the front line with him, he will be as isolated as heber was and will be unable to do what we all know he can do.

in ronny's preview, when asked who would be taty's backup if he were to get injured or had to come off, ronny's response was medina or mitri or gary.

OH BOY......

Not many good options but I would have guessed ITS is our second best option, maybe he's still working his way back though so Ronny didn't consider him. I'm surprised he didn't say Ring just to be extra stubborn and double down on his position that Ring can play anywhere.

I think canchon canchon's question is implying that it's too close to know if there will be other positives or risks. I haven't kept abreast of the latest science/testing, but according to the WHO, 1) you're much less likely to test positive if you are not symptomatic, 2) it can take 1-3 days for asymptomatic people to test positive, and 3) you might not be symptomatic for 5-6 days on average but in some cases up to 14 days. So we don't really know if it's only Nick Hagglund

I'm just going to lean into pessimism here and say we're likely to get a 0-0 or possibly a 0-1 loss here.

We can't seem to score to save our lives, and Cincy is going to bunker hard and counter while our fullbacks are all the way up.

Now that I've put that out there, here's hoping instant karma gets me and we blow them out 4-0.

We assumed FCC were going to bunker the last time, but they did the opposite and went on full attack against us. We struggled against their press at times too.

I don't think FCC will bunker. I think they saw they could take the game to us last time and they will do the same tonight. We're going to have to show our class and talent, pass through their press, and finish any and all chances we create. With Taty's speed up front, I think we'll have a decent time getting in behind. Waston is big but he's not super fast. He and Taty are going to battle - that's for sure.

I do get the feeling it won't be an easy game. I think we're tired and I think our morale is suffering a bit with Maxi and Heber both out with injuries.

Hopefully, Taty lights it up. I HOPE Ronny plays Mitri and lets him get his feet and fitness. That being said, I'm 99% confident we will see the original lineup we've been seeing except Medina plays in Maxi's spot, Taty in Heber's spot, and GMS in Medina's original spot.
