Houston - Postmatch

I want to know what's going on with Lewis. Not even in the 18 but not on the injury report? Was he late and put on punishment?
Many others are wondering the same. In the past, they have not tried to keep such punishments a secret.
I think JL has an attitude problem. Patrick is too cautious with youth, but as we've seen with Jack and Yangel the young players still can earn their place with hard work and patience. JL has shown ability on the pitch. But when asked about him, PV's responses are usually a variation of "keep working hard in practice." After a while, and with JL out of the 18, it looks to me like no matter what he shows in games the kid isn't putting in the necessary work off the pitch and PV's waiting him out.

I'm all for putting effort forth in practice, but some players are gamers and some leave it all on the practice field. If this is true, PV is once again cutting off his nose to spite his face. He fcked the team last year benching Mix and he's fcked the team other times when he's felt players haven't put enough effort forth in practice. It's tiring.

I try to stay pretty level-headed, but we are a shit show right now. Nothing is working and there's no chemistry. And there's not much time left to build it before the playoffs. I'm incredibly nervous that we are going to burn out entirely in the playoffs.
It all comes down to whether or not we are forced to have Pirlo and TMac on the field come playoff time. If we do, don't even bother watching the playoff games. If we have Herrera, Ring, Maxi and everyone else healthy, Toronto is all that can stop us.

TBH, I'm not so sure. I'm still convinced that "Jason Richards" is JL posting on a sham account. If that's so, then cooling his heels is more than appropriate:
I agree Wallace was shit maxi on the wing wasn't great Tommy was crap

If your theory is true, there are much bigger issues on the team than simply cooling his heels. But with that said, considering how much we all wanted to hear Mix's side of the story, I won't be hypocritical if JL is posting; however the difference is that I at least wanted to hear the story from Mix, and not a pseudonym account.

I think that's borderline fine if it's just a matter of whether or not to play JLew, but I think that once you send the message that effort isn't rewarded, it all falls apart. It's not just about individual progress, but about team commitment. Once that is out of the window you have a real management problem. Not to mention that it's in the long term interests of his career to work at his game.

You can't just say the kid has attitude problems and you don't know. Ive been to training a few times and Ive seen him working with one of the assistant coaches.

Can I not be a fan of a player. I will stop commenting on JL then you guys are coming up with incredible statements.

Ahah if you weren't Lewis you would have laughingly said you were.
I highly doubt any player would even care what half 0f the fans say and even take the time to come on this website and talk about them self let alone other players like that. Thats an absurd comment. there more worried about there careers and playing for the club.
