Jack Harrison [Midfielder]

all ill say about bielsa's style is that come end of season the team is gassed sometimes badly. well see what happens with leeds since they play like 40 plus matches for championship not including cup games

EDIT: is every championship game in espn+? or only select games are shown there?

Pretty sure it's select games though you can PPV any match through Leeds or other Championship teams official websites.

Definitely only select games. If they aren't carrying all Serie A it is pretty close to all.

They had injury issues at the end of last year and Almiron left the last game injured, and it's thought that he will miss the remainder of the regular season.

I can't speak to them burning out, but they have had at least some history (within a very small sample size) of some late season injuries.

Yeah, by burn out, I was meaning a catch-all for injuries, fatigue, general performance staleness.

Quite late with this, but Jack Harrison's star has fallen considerably at (top of D2) Leeds. Last match against Aston Villa he went off at half time and was replaced by an academy product who scored. Interesting comp for MLS that he was a standout for us, albeit last season.

That academy product's kind of a big deal according to the Leeds fans I've talked to.

I can’t admit to watching Leeds and Harrison play this year, but is anybody actually surprised that a club is valuing a prodigal academy product with selling ability over that of a loaner player that the club has zero incentive to develop or reap the long-term rewards from?

Harrison may not be at the level of the other roster players, and that’s fine, and Leeds is treating him exactly as any club treats a throw-away commodity with a diminishing half-life..... they’re taking care of their own interests and not those of CFG, because why should they....

Jack is off now. I’m watching the match. He didn’t do much other than score. The goal was a tap in.

He wasn’t bad. Just there. Leeds is basically premier league level. Derby is scrambling, scrappy and overachieving to be where they are in the table.
