Jack Harrison [Midfielder]

Was just coming by to post on the article. It's excellent. We know a lot of the story already, but there are some details from his time in NYC that are new, and it obviously updates the story past his time in New York. Also interesting to read some of the comments from the Leeds faithful.

FWIW

Pretty accurate description. His off the ball work, build up play is very good. His final ball he is struggling with.

I think the tweets are highly selective. Most I've seen as a follower of the club is more balanced. I think a decent proportion of fans realize that we suffer without his defensive discipline and link ups.

With no basis whatsoever, I feel like he's the kind of player who gets down on himself and stuck in his own head. We've seen the quality of his final ball at NYCFC when he's flying high. Near end of last season for Leeds he was very good too. I feel like if he could back himself more, he'd be much more emotionally resilient to spells of bad form.

Harrison was involved in both goals for Leeds today in a 2-0 victory over QPR. Had an interesting left wing back ish role in what looked vaguely like a 3-3-1-3. He wasn't super involved in the attack but still managed to pop up and have an influence when and where it mattered. Very impressive and mature performance IMO.

he can play LWB? Hmm....

Sounds like jack had a very good game in a wild 5-4 Leeds win over Birmingham city. Goal and an assist and his late shot put in for an own goal that was the winner .
Not sure if it was his shot for he winner. Ayling crossed and I think the defender got in front of Jack but had no chance of clearing it. You could say Jack forced the own goal tho ;)

He's really come into his own and is playing with a lot of composure and confidence. His assist was very reminiscent of the backheel layoff to DV7 in that he ran at least half the field with the ball and still had the composure to pick out a well weighted pass.

This match was mental. Especially after dropping points in 3 successive matches. We play West Brom next in a 1st vs 2nd clash. Butterflies already fluttering.
