With his injury, will he still be selected for the U17 World Cup roster?

Well, technically it is 5 weeks beginning 2 weeks ago, so he'd be available at the end of this month, potentially. What's notable is that the release said "he will be treated... for the next five weeks." It did not say he will be out 5 weeks. I think it's possible this is the kind of injury that needs rest and rehab and that timing is hard to know in advance. He could be the next Peeping Lampard, but let's hope he's back quickly.

Made his debut for NYCFC tonight.

It's a shame that for home matches, we can't play music for substitutions and that Enter Sandman is forever retired at Yankee Stadium.

I recently discovered his full name is James Hoban Sands.

Hoban. That’s some middle name. (According to Wikipedia.)
