why would any project that on his girlfriend? If someone called me a scallywag should my girlfriend be offended? im confused.

Looks like my antenna from coaching girls soccer for 10 years was misplaced -- WAG is "wives and girlfriends".

Lets change the subject away from my stupid post. Scally = cool signing, huh? There is a video on the NYCFC website of Scally training. and there is another young guy in the video who isn't on the team. Does anyone recognize who that is?

What's wrong with a 15 year old having a girlfriend?

I don't believe for a second the "wag" in "Scallywag" was meant to be a reference to anything.

I also just don't like it as a nickname, but that's another issue.

I’m realizing that Joe Scally will likely have 0 MLS minutes before he goes to Germany.

EDIT: 70 MLS minutes. 68 of them during two matches vs. New England.

Anyone see highlights? How did he do?

Have we ever had a deeper pool for the USMNT in history at one position than RB right now?

Paywalled, but the title covers it, and I'll tease one quote from his coach:
“I have to pay Joe Scally a huge compliment,” Huetter said. “He made his Bundesliga debut against Bayern Munich today, aged 18, right-footed on the left side against top players, and he rewarded me with an absolute class game.”
