Sorry if I seem like a broken record with all these updates, but I find the whole thing continually surprising. I keep wondering if someone has hypnotized me into believing it’s actually happening.

Yeah, surprising considering what he did or did not do in his MLS career..... but remember, sometimes bottom-rung teams that are fighting to stay up after promotion will take a flyer on a player who just happens to work out - Lalas played for Padova in Italy, and while Lalas was a good /great aerial CB, he was atrocious in just about every other way, and yet an Italian team wanted him (probably for the marketing value).

Good for Khiry for taking his opportunity and making something of it. And once again, a former maligned NYCFC player shines after their exit.
