Kwame spent a few minutes with my kids and I. If you haven't met him yet, make an effort to do so. He is a big personality and a great guy. He nicely signed this photo for us and mentioned that he scored two goals in the game pictured.

I assume he was called in to get acquainted with the program and for the coaches to look at him, but it was one friendly. How many guys did they call up?

cant recall...but he did make the preliminary 40 man roster

I also dislike this but figured this would be the case. Very rare to get selceted to a nations national team (even with Canada's ranking) when a player literally has 1 minute of "professional" game time experience.

IDK... I think his response was about as neutral as could be without completely ignoring it. If anything, I cringed more seeing that Kjbert ’s tweet was read by the player.

That's an assumption. He may have just been looking at general comments about the team and happened to see it. There is a ton of goofy shit that I see that I'm not looking for.

Not sure what you mean, but my first take was he was being sarcastic by agreeing while letting him know he sees you trashing him..... which i think he confirms later (assuming he meant 'just gotta let ['em] know' but his phone auto-corrected to me).... pretty funny imho.

Fun fact if you hover over the emoji, he chose "man raising hand (medium dark skin tone)" ; if that was supposed to be an avatar of him and we're being honest I think he could have gone up a tick.

I think if Sands wasn’t mentioned and it was just a ‘Awuah can’t be on the team sheet anymore’ type of comment I would agree. When another player is involved it’s kind of awkward for everyone.
