The author conveys that:
1. Mix had second most amount of passes for a player compared to the amount of his team's total passes (only Klejstan of Red Bulls was higher ... plus Mix did not even play the full 90)
2. (as we all observed) once Khiry came on for Mehdi, NYCFC went to more of an off-balance 4-3-3 with Mix roaming more freely (...and more opportunities in the offensive third) "Through 62 minutes, NYCFC created just three chances. In the final half-hour, with Shelton on and the formation switched, they created five."

On survey done by Soccer United Fan council, our own "Mix " was ahead with 48% as the most watched youngest player in the MLS league. #2 was Gyasi Zades with 31%
Before every home game I tell Mix, "How about a hat trick today?" He shrugs his shoulders. One game, it will happen.
I aint gonna lie, I want him here, I do think his spot is safe with the national team and the gold cup. There is no need to call him up we could now go 0-3 this week with him missing/ tired from a friendly that should be to call up newer players to test to and see who can fill in the final spots for the gold cup roster.
I'd like that but he played at Wilmington so who knows if Kreis is even considering him.
Methinks kreis is letting them play there so they can stay fit in case they're needed.
