MLS - August 7 - Toronto (Away)

I lol at their editorializing. Toronto had no energy and were down 2-0, so their coach subbed out the old guys at halftime. But sure, tell me how you can read their minds and their true motivation was those incidents, not the 2-0 score.

ETA: Chanot's fakery was BS, but Morales at worst made a hard foul and Lareya almost started a fight for no good reason. If you're going to worry about stuff like that, might as well not play.

if i recall, morales and lareya thing happened because lareya wouldn't give up the ball for our free kick. and pushed/kicked morales away, which he didn't like.

was gonna look at the highlights video to see if it was in there, but the club channel apparently deleted everything today? lol. it shows up empty for me at 6pm.

i agree though. those plays were not the cause of TFC's comeback. it was the subs and the higher intensity against us that we just weren't prepared to handle for one reason or another.

No it was very different.
I just rewatched the DVR. Shradi carried the ball into the penalty area and went down on an apparently clean tackle (no call, no complaining, but so crowded I can't really see). The ball went to Osorio and Morales basically rode up his back from behind until Osorio went down. Whistle blows and then Laryea trips and pushes Morales in a dead ball foul for which he got a yellow, and it goes off from there.

You can see the lead up here starting at 7:56, but they cut it off just before Laryea trips Morales.

I assume Saltado was fined for the karate chop as well.

Yeah, I like Mike, but I don't know why he's continuing on this path.

He even asked Sean post-game about the Laryea incident and if it fired up Toronto and Sean basically said no and that it was before the long break at the half so it really had nothing to do with it.
