Down & Out
Round starts tomorrow night, so plan accordingly. DGW for NYCFC, NYRB, Toronto and Chicago.

I have to admit, for the first time this season I'm a little lost on what to do. I like to get as many DGW players as possible on my side, but I really don't see many players on any of the four teams to add that would be worth a -4 point penalty.

I'm removing Adi & Fagundez and bringing in Villa and TMac. Already having Giovinco and Klejstan in my starting lineup, I'd probably leave it at that. However, SKC defender Dia has been killing me the past few weeks, so I've been looking to dump him too. He really hasn't been getting a lot of playing time, so I'm thinking Campbell (Chicago) would score more points this week even with the -4.

Right now I'm going to ride:

Ousted

Campbell, Coelho and Steres

TMac, Piatti, Klejstan and Valeri

Villa, Dwyer & Giovinco (C).

What say you?

Hamstrung because I need to suddenly find a keeper (have been riding Rowe) and Urruti has a sprained ankle. Good times.

Andre Blake (Union) might be a good move to make for your GK situation. He's inexpensive ($4.8) and has a DGW in Round 12 (vs Orlando & Colorado). I plan on bringing him on board for Ousted next week because of the DGW and Vancouver has a bye in Round 13.

RJ is listed with a ankle sprain. Did I miss something posted here about him re-injuring himself or its just the MLS fantasy page doing its thing?

Yeah, that must be old information, which is nothing new for the MLS Fantasy page.

Here's the latest Injury Report from NYCFC.com:

Here is the injury report for New York City FC at Toronto FC:

ooof. I brought in Villa and TMac. I was also thinking of either Allen or Mata, but decided on Campbell.

Like I said at the top, this week had me a little spooked, because I wasn't too hot on the many DGW players this week.

I saw that article yesterday and thought it strange. My apologies for repeating myself, but other than the obvious players, there weren't too many guys in the DGW that were worth getting excited about.

Poku: 8 points. Does anyone even have him on their roster anymore?

Saunders: 5 points. No comment. ;)

Hernandez: 3 points.

Mix: 1 point.

Villa, TMac, Shelton and Materitta all with Goose Eggs.

I'm not sure if anyone would ever consider having any of the other starters on their rosters. Although out of curiosity I always check the #1 player to see who he has on his team and he did start Poku & Mullins. I could only imagine that was a move made immediately after the starting lineups were announced.

Ballsy move, but would you bet that Poku and Mullins would outscore Villa and TMac? I'd never consider that.

Looks like a short term glory move. I agree, the rational fantasy player wouldn't consider Mullins. After further research, that individual is currently sitting 26K+ in the total standings.... not really an individual to emulate and I'm curious to see what their final score will be.

I ended up splitting my two H2H matches. The match I lost was 79-75. Guess that's going to happen every time when Villa and McNamara combine for a grand total of 3 points on a DGW. :D
