MLS Fantasy: Round 8

Just a heads up that the next round begins tonight and you have until 7:00 PM to set your lineups.

I've had some bad luck the last two weeks and have only take 1 point from my 2 H2H matches. Hopefully this lineup gets me going in the right direction:

G = Ousted

D = Wynne, Coelho, Dia

M = Feilhaber, Piatti, Barrios, Fagundez

F = Villa, Dwyer, Giovinco (C)

Even though Villa, Feilhaber and Piatti are on a DGW, I still think giving Giovinco the C will work out for me.

What say you?

I'm in favor of placing the "C" on Villa. Needs to be 2 huge games in the Bronx for us and I think we're due for a penalty shot.

Also, SKC has been slumping, they're due for a favorable weekend. I like that you loaded up on them.

Don't necessarily disagree about Villa getting the C, but that's what burned me last week. Thought for sure Villa would dominate against the Union and Montreal would shut down Giovinco. Didn't work out.

With Gio going up against Portland (they've given up a lot of goals and their #1 'keeper is out) I think he's still a good shot to outscore Villa this round.

SKC has a DGW this round, play Houston in round 9 and have another DGW in round 10, so I thought it a good idea to load up on their players at this time.

Kendall Waston just took his 2nd Yellow of the match. Sucks if you have him in your line up. Good that he misses Saturdays game at Yankee Stadium.
