4/27 8 PM at AtlantaI noticed yesterday that Philly has a mid-week game before our match. It’s at Atlanta in the CCL tonight (Tuesday).
I suppose this could give us some theoretical advantage with the game and travel. However, Philly will still have 3 full days off before our match, and it’s early in the season. So, unless they rest people against us on Saturday (which is in between the two legs), I don’t see much of an upside for NYC.
...What? Then why did we sign him?
I mentioned it before, he was left midfielder. We should try him on the wing once, see what happens.
I mean, that was his first game on the team wasn't it? Hard to judge based on a single performance during a time when the team as a whole stunk and just came back from quarantine etc.wasn't he more of a midfielder? but he really sucked in that position in that MLS is back game vs orlando
If anything, it's actually the other way. Maybe the team bought him and told ronnie "nono play him as a LB!" and he is trying to get him away from LB? Maybe that's why we signed two other LB, because the team knows that Gudi isn't a LB.Thanks all. I totally missed the pre-NYCFC midfield thing. I thought it was a weird Ronnie experiment.
the usual crew!
