I was wondering if anyone was able to get tickets for this game, I am unable to find tickets for the game but I am certain Joe Tolleson said the tickets were on sale Last night.
Looking forward to this one.
On the most recent Soccer in the City pod they discussed Toronto's signing of a very talented young S. American winger/attacking midfielder, Soteldo. Jon Rojas seemed to really think he can be a difference maker. Will be interesting to see if he gets a visa in time to play against us.
By the way, that last show was a really good one for them. Worth checking out. It's the one in the week prior to the Philadelphia game.
I hope he does get his visa and he plays against us so it puts pressure on CFG for some DP signings to make a difference for us.
Funny how you think that would put any pressure on them...
Toronto “hosts” The SC in Orlando Wednesday night so it’sa little harsh for them to get the first game on Saturday against us but I’ll take it.
Oops. Sorry. I suppose I buried my snark too far, and didn't consider the Orlando SC confusion.I read this multiple times and then had to check the schedule.
Toronto vs. Columbus in Orlando on Wednesday at 7 PM (ESPN+)

Okay but to be fair, Toronto/montreal/vancouver you can't compare because they use Canadian visas and whatnot, so I'm sure their system is different.Announced April 26; in a game 16 days later.

First, I’m not claiming this is NYCFC’s fault. It can be but we don’t know. I said a couple of days ago I wish someone would make a table with the basic details for all MLS foreign signings this year but even if someone did we might not see a pattern.Okay but to be fair, Toronto/montreal/vancouver you can't compare because they use Canadian visas and whatnot, so I'm sure their system is different.
I mean, in order for the player to play I'm pretty sure they'll need a Canadian visa / work permit, since the team is still Canadian. I could be wrong, though, but that's what makes sense to me...First, I’m not claiming this is NYCFC’s fault. It can be but we don’t know. Second Toronto is100% in Orlando right now, so I don’t know what visa(s) they need.
