On another note, the MLS Power Rankings have been losing the thread the last couple weeks, but this week they go full on Clown Show by putting Sporting KC on top.

https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...-sporting-kc-grab-top-spot-after-comeback-win
They are tied for best PPG, have the second best GD, second in Supporter's Shield table, the best GA/Game (1.00) and are on 7 games undefeated and coming off a big comeback win. That's a plausible case for #1. I can also make the case they should be dinged for having only 1 tough win (Atlanta) and a weak schedule to date.
But clown show is rather extreme. Toronto at 13 is a better clown show case.

To date, Toronto should be about 20-22. They’re still getting rated on last year.

They are 19th on PPG. I could accept also putting them ahead of Minnesota and Montreal, so maybe as high as 17, though I wouldn't probably do that myself.
Sure but they’ve had an easy schedule so far, still have multiple games against ATL, NJ, and us, and DC will leapfrog them once they actually get to play some home matches (they’ve had how many, 2 matches at home and 10 Away?). Toronto is gonna continue to flush points and it’s gonna be humorous to watch an all-time League-best go to conference-Worst the following year.

You tell me - your choice in meme.
So I think assuming MLS HQ hates us, because they placed us 4th on a Power Rankings article, behind two teams with better PPG than us, and behind another who is currently 0.01 PPG behind us, but also beat us a combined 8-0, is a bit ridiculous.

Sure, arguments can definitely be made that we should be higher, and I may even argue that we should be higher (haven't given it a ton of thought yet), but I think if we are going to say that MLS HQ hates us because SKC, Atlanta, and NJ are ahead of us on a Power Ranking article, yes, I think that is a bit tin-foil hat-ish.

Edit: Two of the arguments even contradict with each other! We beat SKC. We are ahead of NJ on the table. (SKC is ahead of us on the table, and NJ beat us, twice!) I won't address the use of away goals to argue we should be ahead of Atlanta

You don’t even know the history behind the particular meme you chose?

MNight Shyamalan’s Signs:

What started out as a play on the typical tin foil hat meme (for the audience) that the characters had a crazy idea about the crop circles, thus wearing TFH, it was later revealed that the tin foils hats were to protect their heads/thoughts from the actual aliens that nobody believed were actually around them.

The notion you chose that very meme would suggest you do believe it’ll be proven MLS HQ indeed is conspiring against/hates NYCFC.

Oh no. Get ready for them to boat race us in the playoffs. You put the Ulrich especial reverse jinx on way too early for that not to happen.

Ok, if we really want to take it that far.

But if we do want to take it that far, didn't they already know that the aliens were around them at that point in the movie? AND, it was never proven that the aliens could read their minds (the reason they were wearing the hats, so assuming that my meme is suggesting such is invalid.

I've been saying all season they aren't going to make the playoffs. So the jinx either started long ago, or I was correct right out of the gate.

eta: currently, playoffstatus.com has them at 83% chance of missing the playoffs.
