How is it a rivalry? LAFC haven’t won a match yet.
People were saying NYCFC-Red Bulls wasn’t a rivalry until we won a game.
I'm looking forward to Atlanta hosting DC United at 4. Of course a tie is best but I think, failing that, I would rather have Atlanta win. Their records and PPG are about as close as possible given the different amount of games played. All things equal I generally prefer the home team win in such situations rather than give an even bigger boost to the away team if it wins. Atlanta goes to LAFC next week which is as close to a guaranteed loss as you'll get for either of these teams and I think has the harder schedule going forward. We also play Atlanta twice and are done with DC which means we at least have the ability to impose losses on Atlanta which we can't do any more to DC. So I'm hoping for 1-1 or 2-2 but will take a 5 stripes win if that isn't in the cards.
MLS gonna hype whatever they can to get ratings. Their whole "coverage" of our game vs. Colorado was basically JLew's Revenge.
It's kinda trashy of MLS to do the hype train, but I guess it just comes with the territory.
Zlatan seems to play better the more he talks. I happen to like the guy, but completely understand those who can’t stand him. But one thing’s for sure. He walks the walk.
That first goal was an unbelievable setup just to even get to the strike. And the third, the amount of pace he put on that shot in such little time and space was incredible.

There was a conversation elsewhere about ESPN vs. FS1...
On my flight back home today on Delta, the plane had Live TV via Dish. ESPN and ESPN2 were available. Only other dedicated sports channel was the NFL Network. No FS1, No FS2. If you wanted to watch a game on those channels, you'd have to pay for wifi and hope the stream works well enough.

It’s no excuse not to know the objects in your proximity when leaping and swinging an arm. Accident or not, a blow that breaks a facial bone is more force than the laws of the game allow, and the forearm being between the hand & elbow, both of which are reds when connecting with the face, is an easy call.
