I agree with both halves of that sentence, except I don’t understand why they’re connected by “but.”That was a very good goal, but Columbus had 3 players on him and couldn't do anything.
Probably should have been "and", bc I'm saying if they had 3 players on him, they should have been able to quell his presence but failed to. I'd say many other MLS defenses would have been able to easily kill that situation, but then I remembered Martinez has scored 27 goals.I agree with both halves of that sentence, except I don’t understand why they’re connected by “but.”
I just showed this to my daughters and the older one said “ Wait. He wears a sports bra?” and giggled for 2-3 minutes even after I explained it.

You like that guy? I feel like he's trying too hard to force a catch phrase. And it's not particularly exciting at all, so it's a bit anti-climactic after a goal is scored.I'm not a fan of these FS1 announcers for the DC game right now, I want Dave "It's in the net!" Johnson. Is he an ESPN commentator?
Can't explain why. I hate his actual commentary but something about his orgasmic "IT'S IN THE NET" gets me every time and I love it. The rest I can toss. You like that guy? I'm the exact opposite. I don't mind his commentary, but his "it's in the net" is so anti-climactic. Like, he should get excited about DC scoring, not worry about forcing some catchphrase. The way he does it just doesn't allow for excitement. It's not like the White Sox guys with the "You can put it on the board.....yes!" where it just exudes excitement. It's really strange how certain commentators can illicit such different reactions from people (e.g. Ray Hudson)I'm the exact opposite.
