I'm gonna hope we win at home against the revs while being severely shorthanded. it's not going to be easy but if we can maintain possession and play our game, I think we can pull it off.

TFC should easily dispatch FCC.
LAFC should easily dispatch OCSC, but Orlando has times when they play like a championship team. I am kinda hoping for a surprise upset here, especially if Vela is still out and they also have a few callups as well. but their bench is deep.
Rapids over Sounders cause ... altitude and sounders are inconsistent, and their team is decimated with injuries and callups like us.
Timbers v SKC will be a tight game. I'm calling a draw here.

What if a team had so many players called up, and couldn't sign players on short terms loans, so that they could not legally field a team to play a match?

It's a travesty that this is the situation as it is. As difficult as it is, MLS needs to make some changes. Leagues cup shouldn't need to exist and we should have more league games instead so we can take real FIFA breaks

I get the Leagues Cup bit, but how does adding more league games help to take FIFA breaks? You could eliminate the Leagues Cup, CCL, and USOC, and for MLS to play just a 34 game season plus playoffs, while pausing for all FIFA breaks, would still require multiple DGWs.

Yea but still less games to play that MLS teams don't even field their starters for. So they're useless games. Less games makes playing double game weeks easier for teams and allowing for FIFA breaks.

Just think leagues cup doesn't really add anything to MLS at this stage. Too soon I think

You said you want more league games. I ask again. How does that help? The ones we have don't fit even without Leagues Cup.

I meant league games in double game weeks so we cAn take FIFA breaks. Not more overall.

They are somehow gonna fit more games next year with the new teams... Which is only gonna make things worse

I have read that all the teams have the choice to take off for international breaks and that those who don’t make that choice so they don’t have to play so many mid-week games - us included.

i'm sure we're stuck without that choice because of our stadium issues, sadly :(

WOWSER..

Orlando on top 30 mins in....

vela still out.

even so - a vela-less LAFC shouldn't be losing to Orlando.

We are currently 9 points back of LAFC, if the results holds and we would have a game in hand. Is the Supporters' Shield a possibility?
