Love to hear Shep losing his shit.

But let’s not kid ourselves, they are light years ahead of us organizationally.
I look at RB as having gone to the well one too many times in succession and it’s caught up to them this season - next year will be back to normal for them.

By going to the well, I mean they transferred out their capt/best midfielder Dax McCarty and didn’t miss a beat, then transferred out their captain and best midfielder Kljesten and didn’t miss a beat, and then they transferred out their best midfielder Adams, and they’re stumblin a bit. They pulled it off flawlessly the first two times but losing Adams hurt and they need a little time to gel the midfield with guys that know they can’t rely on Adams any longer and have to compensate. I have no doubt they’ll get it clicking again since they play the same style top/bottom and it’s a matter of experience over understanding.

Frankly and briefly, you’re wrong. They have only improved up until transferring a guy who made a good Bundesliga team into one that was invincible and doesn’t give up goals.

So I guess we can hang our hats on the fact that maybe they won’t find another Tyler. But that’s not really problem solving and club management.

Adams is a game changer. Look at where Herrera was and how he developed and where Ty was and same. They completely kicked our ass to the point that a UCL level team is now dependent on Ty in midfield to be at their best, and poor Herrera is scrounging for minutes st a shit club like a sewer rat.

The other key thing is that they are 19 years older than us. For many many years they dithered around with no plan or purpose. After the energy drink company took over they started to put in place a plan that took root in NJ with the academies and arena. But it is possible that they have reached their limit as far as what they can accomplish.

When your team is imploding from self inflicted wounds, you have to take your joy where you can find it.

That’s “defender of the year” Aaron Long with weak defending there and getting muscled off the ball.

And love to hear Shep whining, if the situation was reversed it would be “what great defending”. Shameless homer.

PRO explains some of the calls this week.

This is what we've been asking for, and they execute it really well, I think. We get clear understanding of exactly what happens during the VAR call, and why the calls were made, etc.

This is really good stuff. It’s the kind of transparency that’s been missing from the system.
