What to watch for:

Salt Lake vs. Portland:
Rematch of last year's Western conference final. RSL under Jason Kreis absolutely had Portland's number. Can they keep it up without Kreis?

Kansas City vs. Montreal:
Jack McInerney opened his scoring account with Montreal in game one. What can this new fearsome attacking duo do against the reigning champs?

Dallas vs. Toronto:
Dallas has looked a little shaky lately since coming out of the gates fast. Seems to be a Texas problem this season. A good win against TFC would be a good boost for the club. Osorio is in, Defoe is out and Bradley remains questionable

Red Bulls played a good game yesterday. It was great to see Cahill back on the pitch. Lloyd Sam continues to impress. Kimura is earning his place as well. I'm a little disappointed with Johnny Steele - love watching the guy play but he's been making some very poor decisions out there.

NBCSN's selection of games is horrific. Why do they CONSTANTLY feature Chicago, NE, and DC? They're terrible!

True.

Not that bad of a match though, 1-1 through the first half hour. As a side note is anyone else having a problem watching the game given the shadows on the field, or am I nit-picking here?

In the other early game today, Philadelphia-Houston end up 0-0........little over 17,000 in Philly.

Chicago-New England wind up 1-1. Wild finish as the Fire miss a PK in stoppage time. 15,743 in attendance.

MLS tie mode: activated

The first few weeks we hardly had a single tie but now tie, tie, tie...

Darren Mattocks is a beast physically. Shame he doesn't have the technical and mental game to match it.
