Whose going to be able to watch this?

turn up my computer check the emails and then turn on tv for that 9am game. If the game sucks then I have the rest of the week to forget and won’t even remember it by Wednesday.

The way they’ve been playing it wouldn’t be the worst thing if they lost and dropped out of the tournament. Hopefully the extra time to train before the season restarts will benefit them.

I want them to advance for the simple reason that I don't want another period of not being match fit. The season isn't expected to resume until late August or September, so if they don't go through they're looking at another six weeks without games. That's a long time, and we'll be dealing with not being match fit for another 2-3 games on top of the start of the season and this tournament. Frankly it's why I really wanted the team to at least get to the semifinals so we would have maybe only 2 or 3 weeks, which is much more doable than 6 weeks.

INJURY REPORT:

Gideon - OUT due to knee

Maxi - DOUBTFUL (not even questionable) for quad.

Ronnie said there'd likely be some changes in the lineup - so maybe we'll get to see Nico, Haak, and Scally.

This really pisses me off. Maxi is said to be out for "weeks" and is listed as doubtful for a match a week later? Just list him as out. He's not going to play.

obviously, listing him as DOUBTFUL gives that tiny bit of possibility that he'll play, which will strike terror in the hearts of our opponents... that's called psychological warfare. ;)
