Music and what not ...

I've also seen Paul Weller solo so cumulatively I've seen the whole band :D Seriously From The Jam is like the world's greatest Jam cover band with Bruce Foxton happening to be in them. Still loved the show and The Spitfires a nice young up and coming Mod band opened for them. Paul will never do a real reunion so it's the best I'll get.

Every now and again I remember that this concert footage exists and I end up listening/watching it LIKE WHOA!

Basically Roy Orbison performing a little over a year before his death. His backing band is Elvis Presley's plus Bruce Springstein, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, K.D. Lang and a few others. The concert is pretty incredible if you are into Roy/ American Rock and or Roll.

Also Jackets with fringe - AMAZE-BALLZ

BXLIO I really appreciate your tunes and thouroughness - thouroughocity? Whatever I'm trying to say and can't spell ...

Throwing an easy listening love-making jam in the general direction of Mix and all the ladies out there ... was that sleazy enough?

I first got into this dude Ta-Ku when he released 1 tune dedicated to J.Dilla every day for 50 days. He put out an album a little while back called "songs to break up to" - apparently the follow-up is "songs to make up to" - here's the first thing I know about being released from it - kinda sensual and soulful - with some beats tagged onto the end - looking forward to more soon.

Nope. It just confirms that you grew up in a great window for Hip-Hop. Back when we had options.

Agreed - when I talk to people about how much I love me some hip hop (I'm pretty much as white as they come almost transparent in fact) lot's of people react strangely, but when you grew up in the city that was producing artist like Tribe called quest (the group I went to see at my first music festival) and wu-tang (I'm from staten island so shiiiiiit) and the list goes on it's hard not to be all about it. Literally a golden age in music.

Actually I'm taking a step back - 91-97 was really amazing for music across the board.

I do sometimes wonder if that's just nostalgia talking - but ultimately I concur - we grew up with the best rap music -

so Rox want to do a philly road trip on the 7th to go to this show? Wait for the nyc show later in the summer?

I'm down. Who's performing? We can do both!

Also, I have one act that I absolutely must see this year: Run The Jewels.
