Recently i opened up my guitar case to find these (look at pictures). Called guitar center; they said its likely due to humidity and the strings and stuff. How can i fix this/is it expensive. I feel like i just need wood glue and new strings. Please help me lol

I like Carmine Street Guitars. And yeah, get yourself a humidifier and / or one of those humidifiers that sits inside the guitar or inside the case.

You could glue it back but I doubt it would be stable and it very likely wouldn’t sound any good. It’s a weird design to have the strings run through the top of the bridge like that, and it’s clearly not secure. No idea on cost, but could probably get estimates emailing those pictures to a repair shop. If you want to repair, may also use lighter gauge strings to baby that awful bridge design.

For the money you’d spend and the outcome you’d get, and given the Epiphone price range, likely should consider buying a new guitar.

Nah generally the issues occur when the wood dries out in the dry af conditions we have here.

I think dehumidifiers are for cigars.

Therefore, filling your guitar with cigars to adequately humidify / dehumidify FTW.
You know, it's really irresponsible of you to not mention he needs to make sure nobody lights them up while they're in his guitar.

Rare footage of Midas Mulligan Midas Mulligan, like, totally making it weep back in his college days. Not really his scene anymore though, alas.

Disappointed you didn’t go with Prince’s absolutely ridiculous performance at the RR HoF. Proves my (and your) point, right?

Worth anyone’s 6 minutes. To dominate among this cast is pretty amazing.

Ah, ok. The only guitar I've ever seen affected by temperature/humidity was my uncle's Gibson SG when he was stationed on an island, and it was definitely too humid. I have a Martin D1-R that I bought in high school, I think probably 1996 or so, and it seems to do fine here. But I also have steam heat so at least my apartment isn't completely dried out during winter

Yeah, too much humidity can also be bad, but acoustics (at least in the continental U.S.) tend to see more damage on the other end of the scale. In any case, the humidifier helps keep things steady to avoid fluctuating expansion/contraction in the wood as the weather swings through fall and winter.

I did consider going with an actual performance, and I've always loved that one in particular, but I decided to go with a semi-non-identifiable clip that we could conceivably all pretend was actually you in your youth; hence the crazy fingers shredding gif rather than a whole video.

I can’t offer any help to fix your acoustic guitar issue but I bought a Lake Placid Blue Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar about 4 months ago and it’s the best gift I’ve every bought for myself.
