that reminds me - fanatics has shoprunner. some credit cards give shoprunner memberships as a card benefit. make sure to enroll and you'll get free shipping.
Amazingly, shoprunner not valid on many, many high-demand items, including these hats.

The MLS logo in the back is a slight negative for me. And I wish the monogram was in white. But good NYCFC hats are hard to find (because they won't make good ones).
Fanatics has basically taken over. All of these sites, the team sites, the league site, Pelesoccer.com, Lids.com, fansedge.com and even Shoprunner are all owned by Fanatics. That's why they can get away with $1.99 handling fees and selective shoprunner.
But my Amex offer for 4x points at Fanatics only applies to the main site and when the MLS store (run by Fanatics) had the kit first and the main Fanatics site didn't I bought it there and missed out on the points. Main Fanatics also has ShopRunner but MLS store doesn't, so I had to pay for shipping.
Now they all have the kit. Patience is virtue.
i have a feeling it will be a very popular item and they will end up making it for years to come. it is essentially the NYCFC version of the icon yankees hat. imho, they'd be foolish to discontinue it
Lol that makes me think it will 100% never be done again, the exact opposite decision they should make, truly NYCFC
