think i read a couple of years ago on reddit some article ( or maybe it was this same survey) that players kept asking their agents / FO to not trade them to New England.
NE confuses me. It can be solely because they play in a football stadium, or how you explain Atlanta’s attendance success? Is it strictly the product on the field? They missed the playoffs by tiebreaker last year. 7th in 2016 and 5th in 2015. That’s much better than a good many other teams. Is it just that no one in that area cares about soccer? I don’t think it’s that either.
I think it's in a football stadium with turf and football lines. It's not an easy place to get to either . They have horrible branding, name , badge etc. Started in MLS 1.0 where the marketing was more toward youth teams and soccer moms than toward savvy knowledge fans just a perfect shit storm of things going against them over the years. I do think in my area of Connecticut I've run into more Revs fans than Redbulls/Metrostars (Which is odd since I live in more Giants/Yankees /Rangers than Pats/Sox/Bruins ) part of the state. However I do think I'm already seeing as much/more NYCFC stuff (Clothes or car decorations ) than Revolution .
Best thing about the poll was someone voted for Ismail Elfath as toughest to go against. Don't we know .
NYCFC did not participate so it wasn't Alexander Callens.

That’s good. My feeling on this signing and the other ones rumored are all about pushing a narrative to come back against RBNJ. Without it, there’s pretty much nothing we can offer to a kid that would make him choose us over them. They have a USL club and a solid track record of getting young HG guys into the team. Wow. That Ofori analysis is the type of stuff I expect from Crooks. I feel like he never gives it. But that's actually a really good point he makes.
I thought the Ofori left-footedness thing was pretty overplayed. How often do you see Ring use his left? Or most players for that matter? Including people who play in the center.

Visiting "the colonies" and cherry picking "incriminating evidence of depravity" seems to be a favored past time of visiting Euro fans unfortunately. I guess that's one way to achieve gratification in lieu of actual curiosity or prospects of personal growth. I'm glad for the people who come over and embrace the difference.
Personally I could go for a lot more depravity. Chicken buckets are my fetish.
