NYCFC Players Wanted Thread

Joe Gyau, once he's all healed up, would be an exciting, exciting guy to watch in MLS.

He would be. I just hope his career doesnt take a down turn with injuries. A sad tale far too many usa players know very well of.

His buddy chalres renken was once touted as the next best thing, then injuries robbed him. Josh gatt looked so promising, now he can barley see the field without injuring himself. Really sucks.

Looks like marc pelosi might be signing with san jose which sucks, think he would be a good signing for us.

Scores at 34s & 1:21. Sadly, ko'ed on away goals.

wow both goals were amazing but that goal at the 34th second mark was breathtaking. To take that shot mid air and chip it right over the keeper. This guy looks awesome. Plus he is tall as hell. Could use some size up top now that we have pirlo delivering corners.

Plus he kinda looks like will smith in fresh prince of bel air so that is just extra brownie points from me.

Trinidad and Tobago forward Keron Cummings. He scored two goals last night against El Tri and looked damn good doing so. He is 27 and currently plays in the Trinidad Pro League so he would be a low risk high reward transfer, IMO

Cameron Carter-Vickers, on loan. Dude was awesome in u20 world cup. Plus he doesn't take up an international spot and we can keep him close and interested for usmnt callups.

How about T&T's forward Kenwyne Jones, who has had a good career as a target striker in England. He's currently with Cardiff City and previously played for Sunderland, Stoke and Southampton. Cardiff are rumored to want to shed his salary now that they're in the 2nd division. He would be a DP in all likelihood, but a cheap one. Not sure if he could be signed with TAM funds.

I know everyone is sour on RSL players, but with the Sabo trade, Luis Gil may be a guy we could get for cheap. He could be a nice developmental number 10 if his contract looks okay.
Sept 2014 had him at $220,000 base with 315,083 guaranteed compensation... that's too rich for my blood.

not exactly in the best of form, so we could probably get him for a decent price.

Messi...not real enough

Ronaldo...not real real enough.

Kenwyne Jones...way too real.

Basically, he's the Bethesda of potential DP signings (obscure Simpsons reference).
