Is Reddit social media?
Close enough.
2018 STATE OF THE CLUB
Long post covering the whole season. It's not groundbreaking but it is comprehensive, and worthwhile if you're starved for content. He makes some confusing references, such as calling Shradi "an Austrian poacher striker," because he played in Austria before here, I guess?, though he was born in Switzerland and plays for Libya. But if you get past a few oddities like that, there's plenty to chew on, and likely you will both agree and disagree with substantial bits of it.
I haven't read it, and am afraid to start reading it right now, but is he calling Shradi a poacher? Based on the way he played this year, poacher is about as far from how I would describe him.

Unless he means someone else, but then who? That's just one of multiple head scratchers, in an article that is otherwise reasonably informed.

Damnit mgarbowski mgarbowski, now you're really making me lean towards reading it later while having some bourbon, and likely creating a reddit account just to respond. These are not productive things.

This 100% scared me as "aw shit that's it."
Notice the lack of "We will be back next year!" in any capacity.
He's leaving :c

ETA:
Either that, or he's just taken time to think about it, decided to sign some sort of contract, and is now able to talk again.
I wouldn't read much into it. It's possible he's back or gone (obviously), but I wouldn't try to read too much into this particular tweet, though I understand the inclination to do so.

Yeah, my guess is that someone was like "yo, you're the captain, say something on behalf of the team". He explained why he had been silent for a few days (presumably sitting on the same soccer ball from his last post). That's all.

For the team to get a sense of what's going on here. Now an intern who's actually a mole for us to have an insider idea of what's going on with the team would be great. We'd actually find out where they really are regarding the stadium search.

NYCFC doing a new digital media product, "In Conversation" a podcast style product (though in video)
I LOVE podcast style of anything in the topics i like (sports, history, pro wrestling interviews) but i dont know when the actual team does it, feels like the same as the video clips they do already when they get signed.

ill have a listen anyway when i get home see how it is.

EDIT: ok i heard it, loved it. hope they do more in the season with others.

I thought this was very, very good. Get a nice in-depth view of a player, really get to know more about him and have a connection to him. He also says a few things during the interview that are interesting to me, such as talking about how we did poorly away from home last season- clearly they're all aware of the disaster that occurred- and he was alluding to the end of this season as well. lol
He does corroborate that Sands is the quietest, and Lewis is the loudest though.
Hoping for more of these! Would love to see someone who is more entertaining, though. Sweat's was interesting, wanna see a brighter character as well.

Did they talk about whether the furnace was broken? Or maybe the club is trying to save on the heating bill? They're inside but both dressed like it's 53°.
