NYCFC Training Facility Thread

It seems like a lot to me. Plus, you are only down there after the game is over, which probably means after the crowd has filed out and the players are off the pitch. I mean, it really depends on your daughter and what she likes, but I think the City Send Off at the same price is a better deal, or even splurging on the Starting XI photo. That's something I'd like to do for my kid one day if I can swing it.

We did the City Send-Off after the Portland match last year. It was a great experience but we had to wait over an hour for anyone to come out because the team was doing a dinner after the match. Even after the wait we didn't get to meet Villa or Pirlo. Sean Johnson was injured in that match so he didn't meet with fans. My daughter was also dying to meet Tommy Mac (Clarkstown soccer connection) but he didn't come out either.

Fair enough. It is a long wait, and not necessarily worth doing more than once.

I’m curious if they will keep lowering it till someone buys one. Or just cancel the event.
I just looked up the venue. Everything on the menu is gluten free. That means pizza without wheat dough, which is one of pizza’s 3 fundamental ingredients. God bless the celiac sufferers, but I’m not sure I’d go to this for 0 points and free cab fare.

Yup. Thank you very much but I just had more than my fair share of Pesach pizza.

Big fan of matzo pizza?

Love it. I make some great ones. But what they have is gluten free pizza. Which is made on pesach too. Also had gluten free hot dog and hamburger buns. It’s all a nice substitute, but now I want the real thing if I can have it.

Is non-wheat risen dough permitted?

Depends on if your Sephardic or Ashkenazi. Conservative rabbis have also started that kitniyot are permitted.

Also. Orthodox rabbis have said any Israeli (ashkenazi & Sephardi) can eat it because it’s everywhere. It’s time they let all the Jews eat it. Especially if you know why it started.
