A bunch of injuries on the team and we're going to play a friendly??? This match was most definitely planned prior to the Chanot, Lampard & Mendoza going down, and I'd bet we're planning on playing the subs, but to field a full bench the starters will still have to fly and that's not a short trip. Somebody dropped the ball here - everything should be geared toward a healthy/rested team heading into the final weeks with the Conference Standings still in flux.
Send Mix and Johansen and fill out the rest of the players from the Front Office.

We should be able to bid on roster spots with our cityzen points. Fly me out, I'll put in a strong 60 odd minutes next to mix! But I'll need oxygen when it's over. Think it would be more points then a beanie?
It will probably be good for guys like Martinez, White, TT, Ballouchy and Mix to get some game action, but obviously some starters are going to have to play. Hopefully no one is injured. At least on our side.

many teams do it in FIFA breaks so their players wont "lose rythm" and not be "rusty" in next official game. however i did not expect nycfc to do this since i feel with injuries they wanted to rest them as much as possible.
And of all places, somewhere that requires at least two flights to get to (if not some extended bus ride from a larger airport) to play in a stadium with an elevation of 6200ft.

We almost get there with a 442. Can Rawls play RB? Or CB, since RB is now the natural position for Hernadez.
FC Santa Claus played a game with three goalkeepers, two of whom were in the outfield. Okay, they lost 16-0, but we're not looking to get points here.

Do teams ever bring in players for these games? Can we call up players from Wilmington? They play their last game Sept 28th and they have already announced that they will not play in 2017, so the players should have some free time on their hands.
As a friendly, I think we can do whatever we want. Probably are contractual obligations to field a competitive side, but I hope they don't include Villa and Pirlo.
Non league game so I'd expect a chartered flight.
