Another disappointing loss, which seems to round off the season nicely.

I don't know about you but I saw a little more potential in the attacking moves this game - they still clearly weren't coming off, but you could see that they were trying to string some quite clever ideas together. Still let down by a lack of cohesion and a presence of several players who are clearly not up to the job, though.

Oh, and defence needs a complete overhaul.

Thoughts?

I mentally checked out after the DC loss so I'm not eem angry. Come on Chicago. Save us some grief.

Would be wrong for me to discuss things in detail, seeing as though I haven't seen any of the game, but going a goal down after 2 mins and 3 nil down before the hour, is a pretty poor way to go out.

Hopefully it spells out to the powers that be: things aren't working and the hard work should start now (behind the scenes)

On the pitch, as is... we lack cohesion between the defence and midfield /means we don't defend as a unit.
We need athletes or skilled defensive midfielders. Once we lose the ball, we rarely win it back.

I'd start there in planning for next season.

Looks like an easy win for the the red bullshit.
Supporting the Fire can't be fun. I feel for their fans ( 2 seasons at the bottom).

An expansion team that didn't have its starting 11 together for the full season that didn't embarrass themselves nor their fans.

Who also had a better GD than Orlando City.

There should be very little whining about this season.

There's a lot to look forward to in 2016.

Go City!

I remember in the good old days when we were top of the table after beating New England in our home opener. I think a shitty season like this is character building. I can't wait to ask future fans, "where we you when we were shit?"

OMFG Dallas is losing.

I don't expect instant success. Soccer isn't purely about that.
It's about having pride in your team, and being entertained. It's been rare when I've felt either this season. When I have they've only been flashes.

I've no doubt you'll be singing that song, but could take a while.

Well that was a pretty appropriate way to end the season.

The game and the crowd were pretty subdued - had a very "end of season, nothing to play for" type feel to it.

Team needs an overhaul - new defence needed, new blood up front. None of the DPs impressed me today, Lampard was fairly anonymous, Villa blew hot and cold, Pirlo didn't seem to be trying hard enough.

Very little cohesion between the units - defence were passing it around amongst themselves, midfield didnt have much of a clue, up front nothing much to shout about.

I'm not even sure what was to blame for what was a pretty shitty performance, I think it has to be the tactics, therefore the coach. Team were spread so wide, no one in attack had any support, or people to pass to. Any time we won the ball back (which wasn't very often) the person being passed to wasn't ready for the ball to come to them. Far too often we passed the ball to nowhere and New England picked it up and just ran through us.

Only pass marks today were (intermittently) RJ and TMac, first 30 minutes of Jacobson and Poku who, when he came on, was the only player to show a bit of drive. Everyone else can do one.

RB scored their 2nd on a Klejstan goal, PK drawn by Mike Grella (remember, the guy Kreis didn't think was good enough?)
Dallas just tied. Looks like it's too late. RB will be winning their second trophy in our expansion year.

We were dreadful today. Maybe it was because the atmosphere was so flat, but it was the most depressing home game to watch of the year, without question. There wasn't a part of the field that doesn't require a substantial overhaul. Hernandez and Wingert were simply awful at the back. Shelton has taken so many steps back since his injury it's alarming. Kwadwo Poku is not a winger. I'm surprised and almost a little disappointed that there wasn't more unrest in the supporters' section today.

The Fire pulled one back 2-1.
Dallas is still tied with 10 men SJ is winning 2-1. Now we just need the Fire to tied RB.
Dallas is singing Hey Baby.

This game was really bad and I'm not really surprised with nothing to play for and the way they played last week. This team gave up.
