Nycfc V Orlando City - Post-match

FYI:

  1. 21:00 - Midas Mulligan:
douche cracker Jason Kreis. Didn't even go for it. So typical. I'll quote myself.
  2. 21:00 - NYCFC914:
If anyone thinks this is acceptable lol
  3. 21:00 - Midas Mulligan:
Who could tell if he was throwing the game?
  4. 21:00 - Falastur:
    well, that was sure...something
  5. 21:00 - Falastur:
i don't think i've ever seen such an awful game with so many shots
  6. 21:01 - LionNYC:
Did have any shots on goal?
  7. 21:01 - BxLio91:
im not drunk enough for this
  8. 21:01 - Midas Mulligan:
I'm sorry, I'm full on #kreisout now. I haven't been, but that is inexcusable.
  9. 21:01 - Falastur:
looked like players were queueing up to have their turns at going down injured too
  10. 21:01 - Midas Mulligan:
It shows he has nothing for us next year.
  11. 21:01 - Midas Mulligan:
The players have no faith in him.

BxLio91 BxLio91 just an FYI, but there is no "drunk enough" for Kreis. I've tried. For 33 games, I've tried.

He gave up a long time ago. He has to be out. There's no coming back from where he is. Even if you grant that he's a good MLS manager, he's lost our team. He has no respect, and he hasn't earned any here. He's not committed and everyone from the players to us can see it.

Right now I'm just treating the remaining games as like a post-season tour. The players clearly are just counting the days until their holiday, the manager probably is too, and everyone knows there's nothing to play for. I'm hoping for an off-season of considerable change and a completely revamped line-up in six months' time, but frankly I expect nothing from our last two games so I kind of don't really care about how bad this game was.

Im waiting for Nycfcfan and the rest of the Kreis lovers to come in here and defend that. Itll be way more entertaining than that game

Perhaps I'm old-fashioned. There was a time where you kicked it out. Then again, I couldn't tell when he went down. Perhaps we had a chance to put it out and didn't, in which case it's totally on us.

It's tough to say how long he was down, but since he was very deep in our end (and the ball came up field from a Shelton giveaway in their area), I'm going to assume it was for awhile.

Orlando is fighting for their playoff lives, so I don't blame them at all for continuing the attack. It's simply tough shit for New York imo.

I still think it fair to judge where Kreis sees the team going next year. From that perspective, still not a fan. We need new blood in the coaching staff. He's done here. I don't see him turning it around unless we give him way more time than a new guy would need.

We have some decent players. Kreis has shit on them all year long. What is the argument for him staying? I'd rather start from zero than a negative.

I have zero problem with them playing through his fake injury.
I have a problem with Kreis signing him, paying him big money for MLS, and him being yet another bust.

There's no explanation for it. Kreis must go.

A new guy can build trust, rather than overcome the mistrust Kreis developed among the team. Given that Kreis brings no empirical positives, he's out for me.

I won't support him. I hope we have a good team next year, and do so with someone else. I think it's the only chance. But this year, I have 4 great tickets vs. NER available for sale.
