Hopefully Allen can go vs VAN, otherwise we will be thin at the outside back positions. Angelino is probably a better player then Wingert, but the defense as a whole seems to look better with Wingert in there. Not sure if it's communication and comfort, or if it has more to do with Wingert staying home more then Angelino does.

Maybe my greatest NYCFC game to date. The game itself was nervous as fuck after we went up 3-0. It should never have been that close. I'm writing from the bus ride back to school. I run the entertainment club and we organized a trip to this game for 50 kids.

Poku finally gave me his jersey and signed it. This dude sweats. Photo to come. And signatures on the team scarf from Pirlo and Villa. What a day boys, what a day.

We will never not see Grabavoy on the field from now on. Kreis got his Christmas in September.

Its just like an authentic jersey you would buy at the team store. He wears a large. The patch is like glued on, or pressed, it's like an CONCACAF patch. The edges are pealing off slightly. He tried to sign his best POKU!!! on the back, but I'll take what I can get. It smells legendary. Do I wash it?

The SJ goals had little to do with defensive cohesion. The first was a blown clearance by Lamps and a toss up header. The second was a case of a young Angelino getting a bit schooled by a crafty player drawing a pk.

Great game, great atmosphere, and great (and somewhat lucky) result.

Grabavoy had two great finishes and made his claim for starting. We can talk as much as we want about the weak aspects of his play but he made the most of his chances (cant say the same for many others) and he won us this game.

Very pleased with RJ Allen's progression as a player. He is a solid defender. He also isn't a flashy player but he gets the job done and gives a 100% effort. I really hope his injury isn't serious.
