Official 2016 Postseason Thread

I'll post this again since we know our opponent. If our regular season games played out like the two leg playoff, away goal tiebreaker...well we would lose. That being said, we didn't have a healthy Lampard or Chanot on the roster for either game, and our lineup for the away game consisted of the following...

Toronto
- Home 2-2 (March 13)
- Away 1-1 (May 18)
- Lose 3-3 (on away goals)

Wow. Only one player (brilliant) from that lineup should start in the playoffs. That's pretty crazy. That was a mid-season matchup, not a friendly or a pre-season tuneup.

2 - Brillant and Mendoza

Small quibble. General point is still spot on.

Plus, that away match was on short rest, I believe returning from Portland (or somewhere in the NW).

That was arguably the weakest starting XI we posted all year.

I can always insert TMac for Mendoza to bring it back to 1 ;). But that's not my point, you get it. And Mendoza deserves the start at this point.

Oduro doesn't have the skills to beat people off the dribble, they need to get the ball to him in behind and let him chase it.
