UBA Arena is looking absolutely amazing. Every time i drive by it on the cross island, I always have to take a look bc it just looks so darn grand! If NYCFC can get something like that in terms of stadium, it would look amazing.

does it? from the renderings and photos i've seen, it seems pretty plain from the outside. when we build our stadium, i would hope they will make something eyecatching from the outside. Something that truly represents the vibrance, diversity, and energy of NYC. then again, CFG will probably go the monolithic path.

I don't know what you've been looking at but to me this looks really pretty:

I think it captures an older style new york and looks really nice, in my opinion

yea that's what i've seen. i'm honestly not that excited about it. looks like a bank or shopping mall.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I think it's miles upon miles better than most stadium designs we've had, especially in NY.

It's miles off of this:

Agreed, it does look nice right off the Cross Island, definitely much better than the vast emptiness that lead up to the Belmont racetrack before. Coliseum looks interesting from the outside but knowing they did nothing to the inside, aka the area that needed actual work, it doesn't sit as high.

M moogoo probably doesn't have the same fondness for brick that we do, Shwafta.

Maybe some forum members have a bigger fondness for bricks because they are founding members and bricks hold sentimental values to them lmao

no problem with that. do as you please as admin. thought stadium thread was more focused on OUR stadium. probably why it even started in this thread to begin with

My younger daughter (the one who most often comes to games with me) received her SAT score this morning, and it's kind of amazing. So good we're canceling her second try which was going to be this coming Saturday.

Later, our lawn/garden people managed to cut the line that supplies internet into our house while trimming some branches. But they are prepared for such possibilities, repaired the wire, and restored service in less than 30 minutes.

Today is a good day.

I'm under the assumption you don't have fiber running to your house?
