I just printed my tickets for the game and guess who was right there? Frank Lampard standing right next to Kaka. Enough time has past that its all good, but I thought i'd share.
Not sure what you mean. Do you mean parking gates or stadium entry?
The last time I was at Blackbaud (5 years ago) there was no security gate to the lot that I can remember. But I will find out from Chas to be sure.
Is this match going to be transmitted online like the previous two?

I wouldn't think there would be much NYCFC tailgating - not really feasible for many of us to drive to the game.

Why not? Hanging out in the parking lot prior to gametime is a lot closer than going to the bar & grille. Plus you'll have a chance to hang out with some AO guys as well as Terminus Legion, The Regiment and Queen Anne's Revenge. You don't need a car to tailgate.
I'll try and park nearby to see what's going on with any NYCFC folk, and also to see how the Battery fans party. At the airport now, Charleston later this afternoon.
Oh, I'm totally game if others are. Just wouldn't assume the NYCFC contingent would be all that sizable given that I assume not many of us will be driving.
how many people are actually going to be there? ( i am mostly because i am already in ga for work stuff, and it's not that far of a drive from where i am ) and would like to figure out where the majority of people are going to be meeting up before the game. seems like a lot of people doing different things
Doesn't seem like there's a real consensus - I'm flying in Saturday. Right now I'm thinking I'll head to Daniel Island Grille first and then walk over.
well, I am probably be there around 3ish, so i may just bounce between tailgate and the grille then, depending on what the tailgate is like.
Even though I won't be going (family stuff) I've had open communication with a number of groups down in SC. I would recommend pre-gaming at Blackbaud park with The Regiment and Queen Anne's Revenge. It's closer. Cheaper. And the fine men and women at QAR assured me that there will be plenty of food.
