You nailed it, since the day he arrived he's played the game like a guy that's never played against anyone he couldn't out run by 10 yards. His main move on day 1 was poke and chase. His touch is terrible because it never had to be good and he takes an extra 3 seconds to make every decision because up until he hit MLS he likely always had the separation he needed allow for a longer decision making process.

It's a shame, I think I've held out hope he'd put it together far longer than others. At this point it just doesn't seem like it will happen. I like Ulrich 's RWB suggestion but even at RWB you have to pick your head up and do something with the ball long before you're in the corner with 3 defenders closing in around you to take the ball.

im not even convinced he could play RB/RWB to be completely honest. I'd much rather have mikey lopez play RB over him. he's more qualified, has better understanding defensively..... and when we tried that, it was an absolute shit show.

some people just aren't cut out to be professionals after college. khiry and lopez are two of them

Right now Pirlo is a great fashion and style icon who has an amazing Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Not so great of a football player anymore. I'd rather win football matches instead of seeing Pirlo lose the ball and ship goals. Nothing against the guy - I'm still a huge fan. He just can't play anymore. Time to transition to Pratum Coller and/or comparing suits with Conte at Chelsea.

I saw what you saw last game. My only rationale is that Khiry has great top end speed but awful acceleration. Add to the equation his hesitation making decisions and his foot will never push all the way down on the accelerator. That's why I think, and others have also mentioned, he'd be best as a wingback that doesn't have to think on defense - only react to the man being marked, and on offense his first inclination should always be to bomb forward at top speed to pick up the ball in the space behind the defender.

His acceleration is pretty great. I think the coaches are actively trying to get him to think about the game and when he does this he can't really move with a lot of conviction because he's just trying to keep up mentally. Multi tasking is hard. That sounds harsher than I mean it to be, but I couldn't find a more direct way to explain a cognitive problem that is being talked about as a physical one.

As a follow up, Brillant wasn't all that far from heading in the rebound while on the ground. Imagine if he was able to do that. Would've been his second such goal this year. What an effort.

I definitely went through stages of grief, despair, amazement, anger and admiration on that play.

Just for the record people My Andrea had that ball in play and was pushed by the other teams player !!! I Watched it over and over ! The Fuckin Ref did NOTHING ! It was a foul and wasn't ACKNOWLEDGE ! How could Ya'll not get that ?? Your as bad as theses Corrupt Refs that have no business having their jobs ! You need to back your team players when they're being Fucked Over no matter if you like them or not !!

I will suggest you DVR games or rewatch games to get what you may miss when one is on The Shout Box ! We all are Human and can miss significant moments looking up than down when commenting . This is why PV's statement after this game was correct when he said he was proud of the team . Andrea's playing was good and the Man came to the defense twice when his fellow teammates Maxi who was thrown around by those 2 Timberfucks and Tmac was unfairly tackled ! Andrea was like a proud father coming to the defense of his boy's !

So YES Andrea's defense has always been his strong suit !!! But My Man comes to the aid of his Team ! What more can you members of This Jury ask for ! Thank You !!

We've crapped on Fred, but it seems like he's really really happy to be in NYC and to play for the team. Goes to show how much chemistry along a back line means. The last two seasons we gave up a ton of goals with the rotating door we threw out there each week, but with stretches with Sweat-Callens-Chanot and Sweat-Callens-Fred, we've seen some great performances once they've gotten comfortable.
