Premier League 2019/20

Can't stand them and don't think their close to City on pure talent
I don’t see this at all. Is it stylistically different? Absolutely. But where is this massive talent gap? Liverpool is as good or better at 8 of 11 spots, easy.

UGGHH City 2 losses now in 2 matches without DeBruyne he's probably their best player and the best in the whole EPL for that matter but they should have more than enough to overcome that.

It's frustrating because as silly as it sounds to say about a team with 8 wins out of 8 I don't think Liverpool are THAT good. They've looked vulnerable often just finding a way sometimes questionably to win in the end. Not sure I've hated a team this much since Fergie left United. Well the Pink Cows and Celtic but in the EPL I mean.
I love you. And really, Liverpool are better in 11 out of the top 16 players on the roster.

Remember when City's B-team could win the Prem?
and now those same pundits are like 'Well, City is plagued with injuries so of course they're doing bad'
...
Hypocrisy is rampant :)

City's problem is leadership. They don't have it anymore. Team full of stars but no one to get them working together. Especially when they're having some issues.

Injuries to the backline did kill their style. City's style require that the backline be very capable of defending 1v1 and reading long balls in behind. No kompany, no Laporte, that hurts. Otamendi is shit this year and really wasn't great before. A left back position that rotates more than it should. Fernandinho I'm a position he shouldn't be in. Him not at dmid changes everything for them.

City are a very good side, but their style is a fine tuned machine with specific parts. Substituting alternative parts doesn't get the same result. It's that simple. The back line pep has right now isn't what he needs to make his system work.

I know, but that's kinda the reason I said what I said too

Feels like an Aston Martin vs a VW Golf GTI situation to me.

(I don't know much about cars but I hope the analogy stands)

Is your car really that good if you need it to be perfectly tuned to work well? I would rather have the more robust and reliably zippy option 10/10.

Bit of a Klopp out.... :D I know with our ownership I have no leg to stand on but couldn't help myself set itself up for a tabloid headline too perfectly.

Wasn’t even counting Naby, and he’s finally healthy and firing.

Still think NYCFC Should have opened the checkbook for Lijnders when we instead hired what’s his fuck. That dude turned out alright. But Pep is another class.

man is tactician number 1 for the best team in the world, not a damn set piece coach for the worst set piece team I’ve ever seen.

now, we’ll never get him because he’s basically nailed on to succeed Klopp. Missed another trick. It’s almost like CFG DGAF about things here. Almost. But I’m sure they really do. Right? Right? Answer me damnit!

You obviously know Liverpool much better than I but I'd think if Gerrard wins trophies at Rangers no one else is clearly locked in as Klopp's successor.
