At least they have an endgame in sight. Funding and government approval for 27,500-seat soccer-specific stadium is a go. I've also been to several games as I have family there and at least from their seats in the supporters section it's not bad. (Sidebar: the food is certainly better). I'll be heading down for the preseason game, just got my ticket

I am going to be in Nashville that thursday and friday. Honest opinion - do you think this is worth going to with just two days and first time in Nashville? What section?

Also, what else are "must do" things in 48 hours.

Nashville is a great city to visit, lots of great food and drinks and live music.

However, I will say that Broadway can get way too packed and it turns the fun down quite a bit. Broadway on a weeknight though? Awesome. Perfect sized bar crowds, still great live music everywhere.

Forgot to reply to this, apologies! I'm not sure what section I'm in, potentially the NSC Roadies supporters section where my sister and brother-in-law have season tickets.

Must do isn't really my style in Nashville. When I've been there I tend to loaf around a bit, see what music/shows are happening (I'm not talking about the bars with cover bands in Broadway, actual music), and try to restaurants and bars. Sister and brother-in-law are also outdoors folks, so we also spend time outside the city. It's great for someone like me who likes road cycling on relaxed roads (e.g. Natchez Trace).

It's a preseason friendly. You're safe to skip it.

Go to the Country Music HOF and Edley's BBQ. Go bowling at Pinewood Social. Be a hipster and roam around East Nashville.

It's Game Day! On regular TV, probably with announcers and maybe even more than one camera! And at a normal time when people can watch! And maybe our best 11 playing together! Hooray!

I only have 1 must do-not in Nashville.

No matter how strong you think you are, you cannot hang from the pullup bar for 100 seconds. I promise, you can't do it, so don't try.

ETA: if we'd sign a true (tall) striker, move Mitri left and JLew to bench, and we'd look pretty damn dangerous.
