Preseason - January 15 - Corinthians

This Kim kid is terrific.

is he? he's so sloppy to me. not clean on the ball at all. doesn't seem to make good decisions with his tackles either.

personally - of the kids, gray is doing well. de rosario showed a lot of promise.

looks like ronny is letting the kids finish the game.

Poised, controlled, made some great passes, defended well. It’s boys against men, I am not expecting a perfect product. Funny how it’s easy to see it so differently!

ETA- thought those fouls calls were light.

ahhh had a chance but alas it didnt happen. good effort from the kids well see saturday

Agree that Gray looked very good as well.

Of the academy and trialists, I have eyes on Kim, De Rosario, Mizell. Zela did fine—skillful, but slow and soft—so will be interested to see if he can grow into the team. Gray was good, but not sure how he and Haak sort out for the CDM backup

Wasn’t Vagner Love a Tracey Morgan crank calling alter ego on Crank Yankers?

I THINK we’ll see Gray eventually at RB

I wouldn't quite say I'm ready to go to bat for him but I liked what I saw.

Showed for his team mates. Handled some hospital balls well. Used his small frame well to shield the ball. Head on a swivel off the ball and just before receiving. Always looked like he knew where the exits are. All good qualities for a CM.

A few misplaced passes that looked like missed understandings. Looked gassed by the end. But seemed promising to me.

I thought Sands looked great - some reasonable young lads and JPT kept making me think he was Maxi with that hair..... until he got the ball and he was a bit poor.

And I too shall stan for Colman Kim - definitely got involved and had no fear and showed quick thinking, solid enough performance from the wee man.

Good points. After some thought I realize I was being harsh. Literally a kid playing against seasoned professional men. He did well.

Colman has been great in the DA Cup matches that I've watched. I really hope he's a homegrown signing.
