Purchasing Secondary Market Tickets For NYCFC

FWIW, I use Chrome and this new bluish site is the one I get when I click on to my account.

Odd thing being it is slightly different depending on whether or not I'm using my lap top or desk top.

Either way it sucks.

No idea where this should go bc there's no like "general matchday thread" or anything so I'm posting it here.
Coming back from RBA back in the open cup game, I met this person that mentioned that supporter groups arrange buses to games that are close (i.e. DC, Philly, Boston, etc.) and I was wondering if anyone has more details about how to reserve/pay, when they announce, etc? My friend and I are planning on going to the DC game in October.

Best bet would be to reach out to the Third Rail who organize bus trips. You may be able to get a seat on the bus, for a price like anyone else. Though, I don’t believe the DC trip has been organized yet.

I’d recommend joining for $25 per year. Even if you don’t sit in the supporter section you get first access to supporter section seats in away games and these supporter organized bus trips.

Yeah, seeing as I'm 95% chance going to cancel my ST, I might do that for Third Rail. Do you have to join by a certain time, or can it be at any time? Also who do I contact for third rail?
thanks

Has anyone looked at the StubHub pricing for the DCU game?

Early September, Saturday afternoon game featuring a visit from one of the most recognizable names in world football and you can get Legends seats for $100. Face value on Ticketmaster is $295. Founding member price is $193.

SS tickets can be had for $16-18, Delta for $45-50, Champions for $75.

If SS seats are a $10 loss per ticket, what hope does anyone have?

There's literally going to be a renewal-pocalypse.

The market is such that buyers are waiting until the last minute. For the last RB match, the tix were really low 2 weeks out and still not good even a week out. But then look at what happened, 30k reported attendance (sales). My extra tix sold 4 days ahead and my buddy’s sold in 5 min the day of the match. I broke even, but am not sure what his price point was, if a profit or just looking to offload. 5 minutes at noon of game day is pretty crazy.

I expect DC sales/prices to rise as we get closer. Whether they rise to profit levels is another story.

Does stubhub charge a fee for buying tickets? And how does it work if I buy four tickets- are they officially mine, or do i have to wait for the other person to approve the sale, or something else?

It's so simple and user friendly.
1.) Create or log into your StubHub account.
2.) Buy your tickets on the StubHub market.
3.) Wait for the seller to send them to you, hopefully on time.
4.) Get an email saying they have been sent to you.
5.) Go to a separate site, Ticketmaster, to accept the tickets.
6.) Create/log into your Ticketmaster account.
7.) Download the Ticketmaster app.
8.) Add your tickets to the app.
9.) Show up at the game with your phone.

It's easy, and totally the best utilization of 2019 technology.

oh, wow I can't believe it's just that simple! Thanks for your help! I probably could have figured that out on my own, I guess...

I once got reprimanded by Stubhub because i didn't check a box or something that said I sent the tickets to the purchaser even after he sent me a note saying he received them and Ticketmaster knew that he had used the tickets.

Oh I didn't even get into the steps for selling. I'll do it later when I have a couple hours to explain it.

Actually, my joke flew over your joke because I was going along with his joke, because that is some truly complicated bullshit. :)

Question guys: when you buy resell tickets through StubHub, you need a ticketmaster app or NYCFC app to view the mobile tickets? Or are both the same thing?
