Huge win!
Great performance. Wish we went after them at the end and tacked on but Viera was content to absorb pressure being up. Obviously that's worked against us in the past so it would of been good to see them attack still, not just counter.

Saw the last 30 minutes on my lunch break and the ball from Harrison to Villa was gorgeous. Kid is seriously talented.

Like I mentioned I didn't see the whole game so the MOTM poll is thrown together.

1-0 Harrison

2-0 Villa

Since making his appearance in June, Harrison is tied for second with 5 goals + assists in that time frame.

I feel a cleansing of mind, body and soul. Like every ill I've committed suffered done to me has been wiped away by one supreme act of glorious brilliance. The team fought for every defensive play, were first to every tackle, and there was even a red card just to top it off. This may not be as good as it gets - but it's close.

That's also two straight wins at home. Ever since the bad-luck RSL game, they're playing a lot better in the Bronx than they were early in the year.

Played that one like a road game, score early then park the bus. Played that strategy well, but we've got to improve playing with a lead.

Your right Tom, but there sometimes the result is more important than the performance. This was one of those times.

When you realise that this team is top of the division and still have so much to improve, you must feel so good for the future!
