Dax was gloating like hell on twitter after the last win. He also posted gloating after someone posted a video of him mugging Pirlo.

Marsch needs to shut it. Pot calling the kettle black.

Funny, not a single tweet from Dax related to the most recent Derby. Not One.

Have you seen any of his matches in Norway (where he didn't score very much), or just basing that on USMNT play? (5 goals in 37 caps). Yes, I know he can contribute other then scoring. And there's no reason to knock a dude on his way out, especially one as nice as Mix. But he never really lit it up anywhere to make us so optimistic of his talent.

I have seen a number of his matches overseas and obviously all of his minutes with the USMNT and obviously us. By the way, Mix I don't think will ever ever ever be a player that has great stats but he has a great motor, he is very smart, his ball skills are very good, and touch is pretty good as well, certainly better then TMAC. I think he is a player that can really thrive with consistency. Unfortunately with us, he has seen anything but consistency.

Just asking. I've watched most his USMNT matches and all our games, but none when he was in Norway. I'm also not a scout, so I won't pretend to know what I'm looking at. But he never jumped out at me while playing like other players of better talent have.

The red bulls have started this nonsense of gloating and you know what, as a fan I don't care. And the gloating they have done has been really personal such as the baseball swings by Matt Miazga along with Felipe, the taunting of the NYCFC fans by BWP, Dax, Felipe etc. The broom pictures from last year, the shit they have done after the 7-0 win a few weeks back etc. And you know what, as a fan of NYCFC, it made me hate them even more but by no means do I think they did anything wrong. It is what it is. They beat our ass every time until this last game and we have to take it like a man.

HOWEVER, when the bully gets punched and get their asses kicked, they shouldn't say a word. But as I have said all along. The Redbulls are a weak-minded bully. When things go wrong for them they don't play as well, they sulk, they completely loose their cool, same for their manager who I loathe so much. So in short but rather long, FUCK THEM.

I understand. I am by no means a scout either obviously. I watch a ton of soccer form all over and played it in college so by no means a scout. But I don't think we need to be one to realize that Mix has more talent than TMAC and is a better player. However, for some reason unknown to us fans, he just hasn't received the playing time. Maybe he doesn't practice well? Maybe he got into a spat with PV? Who knows but its odd having him not even dress for games when he gets paid so much (relative to MLS) and hasn't been transferred or traded somewhere else. That is why I say, fucking use him, lets see what he can do with our new much improved lineup.

What does he need to do to light it up? He's a midfielder, not a center forward/striker. You mention his 37 caps/5 goals, but that's a better ratio than Bradley with 121 caps/15 goals, and I'd wager that Bradley has been the recipient of far more starts/minutes and better quality teammates (no B-team lineups).

Not trying to beat a dead horse, but his MNT play statistically is no worse than the team's captain.

makes you wonder if their mercurical play is because of marsch's up and down nature.

i was a kreis guy last year but viera really showed me the importance of leadership. it could be the most important part of being a coach. if we kept the xs and os and the players the same as last year, and i think we would still be a better team.

Glad you came around.

A friend from college who I worked with in entertainment event production (concerts, etc.) just posted on Facebook that he got a job at Red Bull in their cross marketing team in California.

Unfriend.
