I can't tell if Twin Peaks (The Return) is brilliant or terrible. I'm on like Episode 8.

I watched the original 2 seasons of Twin Peaks just so I could watch The Return and some of the original was incredibly boring and poorly acted but it had moments of brilliance.

Black Mirror (Netflix) - an anthology series that "centers around dark and satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies".

You don't need to watch them in order so I recommend (in air-date order):

S1E1: The National Anthem
S2E1: Be Right Back (starring Domhnall Gleeson)
2014 Special: White Christmas (starring Jon Hamm)
S3E3: Shut Up and Dance (starring Jerome Flynn aka Bronn from GoT)
S3E4: San Junipero

'White Christmas' was my favorite episode with 'Shut Up and Dance' in second.

Im far from mushy/sentimental but I really love this episode. The whole series is great, but if I had to choose just one to tell someone to watch I'd think this one would have the mass appeal to cater to all audiences. The rest of the episodes are great thought exercises, but this one hits you in the feels.

Man in the High Castle on Amazon. 2 seasons in, filming 3rd now.

How did you force yourself through early season 2? That's as far as I got. It hung me.

About to watch last episode of Ozark s1. It's so funky and not enough of anything to be great, but enough of everything to be really, really good. I credit Bateman. I suspect he's more of a talent than anyone ever recognized.

Inbetweeners is excellent just avoid the feature film like the plague.

Somewhat similar kind of humor, Peep Show (entirely unrelated to stripping) is on Amazon. If you're into humorous blokes that are completely unrepentant selfish assholes you'll like it.
Judge me if you must, but watched the film while drunk and still laughed.

Not nearly as funny as the series, but a British American Pie. I laughed. I saw boobies. It was better than Cats. Or Cars per autocorrect.

same, i froze somewhere early in season 2. I did the same thing with homeland season 3 and never came back.

A show I like on amazon is"The Expanse". Season one was a nice mix of sci-fi and a mini detective story line in parallel. Season 2 the detective aspect is over and its pure sci-fi, not as enthralling, but I still enjoyed it. The main character I find to be a slight drag in his role at times, but the supporting cast is fun, especially the tough guy muscle charecter, he's pretty funny at times and you root for him.

Funny. Did that with Homeland too. And Orphan Black. Also, Mr. Robot s2.

Mr robot I havent started season 2 but i heard bad things.
Orphan black I don't really like, but my gf does so i keep watching, I am still in season 1 though. We paused it to watch into the badlands, which has atrocious storytelling/character logic (and acting is grating imo) but visually really appealing. I just keep telling myself ignore how stupid it is and enjoy the vivid colors and gratuitous violence.

Kangaroo Jack

This movie is a bout 2 normal guy best friends from New York who get caught up delivering money in Australia for the mob. After they accidentally run over a kangaroo, they believe to be dead, the kangaroo takes off with the money. Hilarity ensues. Highly recommend.

Should I update my handle to The Revenant now?

I love The Expanse. Read the books, happy they made it into a show. I think it's on Netflix now, too. Not 100% sure it belongs in this thread though as it's an actually broadcast show on SyFy, at least for the first runs. Season 3 is shooting now, really looking forward to it.

One Mississippi season 2 out now. Very enjoyable show if you enjoy Tig. Easy watching.

What didn't you like about Mr. Robot?

Aside from that, I just finished BoJack Horseman on Netflix - it really turned into a surprisingly deep show - just started Bloodlines (Netflix) last night.
Season 2 was just hard to get into. I didn't remember the characters and the plot was too convoluted for me to recall after 8 or 10 months away. No longer seemed so compelling.

About 30 minutes into the Gaga documentary, you get some good Gaga tatas. They are pretty nice.

Call me a scumbag. But I stand with my law school classmate, Clay Travis. First Amendment and boobs, all the way.

Red Oaks, yet again an awesome season.

That shit is just well done, perfect entertainment for mindless binging.

I love it.

On Netflix:
Hivemind really enjoyed Suburra, another Italian series about criminals with subtitles.

Hivemind is half way through episode one of Mindhunter which respected critics have liked but Hivemind is not sure yet.

Narcos is an obvious one.
