Hey guys,

I’m going to be in New York for the New York derby and was wondering if there would be any local fans willing to let me join them for the game?

I’m going to be there by myself and want to experience your match day rituals and join in for prematch drinks.

Hit me up if anyone would be interested.

Cheers!

A great way to get involved would be, if you're going to the away game (at RB) then there's plenty of pre-match activity if you get there early enough - I'd contact the third rail about that.

If you're looking at the one in Yankee Stadium, I'd recommend most of the bars outside the stadium, as well as asking around supporter groups what they do and seeing which you prefer. Hope you enjoy the games!

If you are younger, I would do as advised above and reach out to the Third Rail to get a seat in the Supporters Section and meet with people pre-game. If you are older, maybe one of us #Team50 guys can share a seat - although you should ask closer to the May 31 match date.

I would definitely be interested in meeting up pre-match for a beer if its the 5/31 date, though I'm not sure I can fully commit as my schedule may change.

I spent over a week in Scotland a few years back and was amazed at how genuinely nice everyone there was. I have a fun story about how I now owe any Scottish person I run into a beer (except if its a very large crowd of them, then I may not hold to that). That goes for you to Jock Jock, but I can't remember if you actually live in NYC or not.
